About Adam:

When Adam was born on Oct. 31, 2000 he was instantly the joy of his parent's lives.  His parents never suspected that Adam would be anything but a happy, healthy baby boy.

However, after his birth routine blood tests showed he was bleeding more then he should be.  Follow-up blood work confirmed that Adam had develped Thrombocytopenia as a result of his mom being exposed to CMV while she was pregnant.  Adam's platelet count was only 6000, causing his body to have difficulty clotting and making him susceptable to life threatening bleeding.  A healthy baby has between 140,000 to 400,000 platelets.  Adam required transfusions of donor platelets in order to be stabilized.

Luckily, in a few days, Adam's body started to produce platelets on its own and he was soon able to go home from the hospital.

His parents have since donated blood - giving over 7 gallons of blood between the 2 of them.  They do this to show their graditude and to help others in their time of need.

They have never forgot for a moment how blessed they are that someone came in and donated blood that saved their son's life.

It was discovered shortly after his birth in Oct. of 2000  that his platelet count was incredibly low and he needed donor transfusions in order to sustain life.

Adam's passions

Today Adam is a healthy & happy 13 year old boy who fully intends to earn the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America.

His parents encourage his passions about many things often saying if he was a soccer kid we would be at every soccer event in the midwest.

His 1st hobby began when he was just 2 1/2 years old when he attended his first monster truck show.  Since he has been to nearly 100 monster truck shows around the midwest and even once to Las Vegas.  If you ever have the chance to ask him about it you should, he loves to talk about it.

He also loves racing his Remote Control trucks as often as he can with his friends either at the local Rc track or in his backyard on his own dirt track.

Adam still has his 1st rc, a Losi Mini LST (pictured below).  He also worked very hard to earn a Traxxas 2wd Slash (since traded)  & a DX4R pro for selling so much boy scout popcorn.

Adam used his own money in Jan. 2013 to buy a used Traxxas Slash 4wd roller and repaired it to working order.

His most prized Rc is his Traxxas Emaxx.  He saved his money for over a year to purchase a Mamba Monster for it.

He also was given several old Kyosho's, Bolinks, Traxxas Bullet, RC10's, an Associated 18R, Bandit, a Tamiya TT01, a Blackfoot, a Schmucker, a TC 3GT8.

Most recently Adam has began taking rc flying lessons at Eli Field in order to incoorperate all areas of radio control.

His most recent purchases/trades include a Losi XXX, a Clod Buster chassis and has the hopes of building it into a racing chassis, a Veterra and is going to make it into a drift car.  And the mini SQ1 quad copter.

In 2011 he approached his parents about doing an RC show and they stood behind him on this too.  They wanted to make this a learning opportunity for him and encouraged him to plan it and fund it.  He would know just how to organize and promote because of his many years of attending monster truck shows and learning from the late promotor & announcer, George Eisenhart jr.

Shortly after Losi released the mini LST in the form of Raminator we had to get it for Adam.  Adam is with out a doubt one of the biggest monster truck fans you will ever meet.
